Enable Separate Logins for the Portal and Management Interface

On occasion, Employees may need to log in to the Management Interface and Portal using different credentials. This can be for troubleshooting purposes or for any number of reasons. To enable this functionality, the System Administrator will need to ensure simultaneous login to the Portal and Management Interface is disabled.

Follow these steps to allow employees to log in to the management interface and portal using different credentials:

  1. Log in to the SmarterTrack management interface as a System Administrator.
  2. Click on the Menu icon, and from the dropdown select Settings.
  3. Under the Configuration header, click Management Interface in the navigation pane.
  4. Click the Options tab.
  5. Uncheck the Enable simultaneous login to the portal and management interface checkbox.
  6. Click the Save button.

Employees are now required to enter login information two times: once to log in to the Management Interface and again to log in to the Portal. They can use the same or different login credentials, depending on their needs.
