Automatically Email Reports on a Recurring Schedule

Agents. Managers and System Administrators can configure SmarterTrack to automatically email custom reports to individuals on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule. NOTE: You cannot schedule an email report if it is not a saved custom report. For more information, refer to the KB article Create a Custom Report.

Follow these steps to automatically email custom reports on a recurring schedule:

  1. Log in to SmarterTrack as an Agent, Manager or System Administrator.
  2. Click the Menu icon, and from the dropdown select Reports.
  3. Under the Custom Reports header click Scheduled Email Reports in the left tree view. Any currently scheduled email reports will be displayed.
  4. To add a new scheduled email, click the New button.
  5. Select the Report Item from the dropdown that you want included in the new scheduled email. 
  6. Next, specify how often the report is emailed by selecting the appropriate option from the dropdown
  7. Complete the following required fields: To Address(es), Subject, and Message. All other settings are optional. NOTE: Use semicolons to separate multiple email addresses.
  8. Click the Save button.

What time of day does this run? Can it be set?

Hi Jeremy! Scheduled email reports are sent at 2am on the appropriate day. At this time, there is not a way to adjust the time these emails are sent.

You can update the DB, but i think this should be a feature. Also why cant I choose the account that sends the email. Looks like it is using the default brand

That's right. Those emails will use the default brand's SMTP settings. But please make your requests in the Community. Other users can vote up the ideas if they want them as well and bring it to our developers' attention.
