DotNetPanel and the SmarterStats Default Web Server

SmarterMail and SmarterStats are packaged with a default Web server that is provided for testing and configuration purposes. It is not recommended to use the default Web server for a production environment. Instead, SmarterTools recommends using IIS in conjunction with these products.

However, if you are running DotNetPanel, you will need to create a Web site in IIS before disabling the default Web server. For more information, refer to the Running as an IIS Site section of the SmarterStats Online Help.

  4. Edit the line to be http://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/services (where XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX is the IP of the SmarterStats website.)
