We downloaded and deployed it yesterday so hopefully it didn't get pulled due to a security or functional issue.

At the time of this post, the release notes still show Build 8839 (Mar 14, 2024).

We also downloaded build 8839 yesterday and deployed it on one server. So far everything seems to be working. We have the same fear that build 8839 may have been withdrawn due to a functional problem. Hopefully ST will comment on this soon.

I'm on custom build 8838 with no issues as of right now.  I'm eager to hear why Smartertools pulled it just like everyone else on here.

Crickets from SmarterTools!!!

Silence says more than posting an answer!

We're on 8839 but somewhat nervous as there isn't a peep from SmarterTools and they haven't pulled it back yet either.

SmarterTools is closed on Fridays, not a great idea to release the new version on Thursday

I suppose there is the emergency ticket route but that's a pretty hefty price to pay to let them know that the download was either removed or broken: https://www.smartertools.com/purchase/#/add/support

Well if anyone want the previous build it's still there:

8832 has a bunch of issues.

This is not a good look.

Still a 404 as of 14:30 eastern.  Not good.  We have already widely announced the upgrade-- this Saturday-- from 8451 to current.  A major client with nearly 2,000 employees has been extremely anxious for this upgrade, because they recently bought out a competitor who hosted on 365, and they need to migrate those users into their Smartermail hosted domain.  8451 doesn't support the new authentication required by 365, so we REALLY need the new version to support the inbound migrations.

Can anyone post the link to custom build 8838?  We discussed internally, and feel it's less risky to take 8838 and wait for the next official production build, than to put this client off another week.  We can ONLY do these downtime windows over a weekend.

You could try an emergency ticket to let them know!

Well an emergency ticket for a broken download is ridiculous lmao

It's more ridicolous that they've posted a wrong link and we won't have any solution until next Monday. 😅
Hoping that this build won't add new bugs...

The concern is that they did have it posted for a brief yesterday evening but either deleted it or pulled the download so if that wasn't accidental, anyone who applied it might have an unexpected issue on their hands...

I too had a planned upgrade, but not nearly as extensive as some on this thread.

Well you have to hope that some employee will take a look at the forum else monday is your upgrade day.

I just spoke to Derek via LinkedIn so hopefully the issue will be resolved soon.

Yeah, I'm on it. Will find out what happened. It was NOT pulled intentionally, and things look good in terms of the release. SO maybe something is up with the file.

Regardless, we'll get it taken care of, and I'll post here when it's available. Sorry about this, all!!

Phew! That's a relief to know that it wasn't withdrawn intentionally.

Turns out it was just missing a folder name in the download path. It's now working.

No issues with the install and it did indeed fix a number of bugs minus the auto-login one that we have an open ticket for!

Everything with the newest version seems to be working well.

Hopewell, we are seeing an increase in RAM usage. Keeping an eye on this.
