2FA and Exchange on iPhone not compatible

Hello together

We have feedback from customers and also from our own tests we had to find out that e-mail accounts with two-factor authentication enabled on an iPhone cannot add an Exchange account with the credentials.

When 2FA is enabled, SmarterMail generates separate credentials for MAPI, EAS, etc. on its own. We have tried with these and it does not work. So our customers can't enable 2FA because then it can't be integrated on the mobile. This is critical, especially because it concerns a customer who often has brute force attacks on his employee accounts.

I ask to solve the problem as soon as possible. I have already opened a ticket for this.
