Leave a Voice Ticket in SmarterTrack

Hey Ron! I just wanted to give you a suggestion on this one that you can use right away! What we do is have our phone system generate an email with an attached MP3 of the voicemail, which we then pull into SmarterTrack via standard POP import. This serves as a "voice ticket" of sorts so we can track responses to the message. Most VOIP based phone systems do this and some old school PBX based systems do this now as well, so it should be pretty easy to get going in the right direction. I hope that helps!

Yes, we do this process too.  So voicemails on our phones generate a ticket.

What I am referring to is very new.  I've not seen it before.  You press a button on the website to record your voice and then submit.  It works VERY well on smartphones.

Here is an example.  Please consider.  This would be an amazing and innovative feature.

Hey Ron, 

I think that would actually be pretty cool. What would make it even cooler is if you could use Open AI's whisper model or an online speech-to-text service to transcribe the text for you and put it in the ticket. Then it could have the MP3 as an attachment as well in case of inaccuracy. 

I will get feature requests submitted for the ticket recording feature and just mention the transcribing thing as an interesting tidbit for what we could do with it once we get the MVP done if this gets approval.

Zach, thank you for your feedback. Speech-To-Text would be a great next step.

I would want our team members to hear the ticket moreover. We all know that "human tone" is important and can make or break a conversation.

Practically everyone talks to Google to perform searches. Let them talk to SmarterTrack too!
