How can I change my DISPLAY NAME here in community forums?

I cannot seem to change it via MY SETTINGS or PROFILE... Again a fundamental thing I cannot change...why not?  This is a publicly facing forum, I don't necessarily want to reveal my company name or full name here
 
Please just change to Adam

Sorry about that! We've enabled the setting that allows users to change their display name in My Settings. I went ahead and changed your account's display name to Adam.
