Calendar (Sunday) Meeting Error in Outlook 2016 for Mac
Problem reported by Craig Treisch - 10/18/2015 at 4:19 PM
Submitted
When creating a meeting on "SUNDAYS", I am able to create the meeting with no problem.  The issue is, when closing and returning to Outlook 2016 for Mac the meeting is corrupt.  It changes the time, makes the time zone UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) and the events starts before the scheduled time.  I just scheduled another meeting on a Tuesday and I have not seen the issue, which is what makes me think its a "weekend" error - possibly.

There appear to be several issues with Outlook 2016, and these may be related to Microsoft, and not directly to SmarterMail.

See - with the first being the most relevant to your issues in general, because it references the fact that there are several issues with Outlook 2016 that Microsoft is aware of:

Microsoft will throw it back to the Exchange Administrator.  So, I find myself in a support circle.  Does anyone know about this issue specifically and is using SmarterMail?  We have the latest version installed.  Can anyone replicate?

Microsoft's TechNet already stated, in one of the links contained in one of the posted articles, that Microsoft was aware of several issues.

While SmarterMail may have make some adjustments, once Microsoft has worked out the bugs in Outlook 2016, there does not appear to be much that SmarterMail, or even Exchange users, many of whom are impacted by the same issues, can do until Microsoft has vetted the issues and bugs in Office 2016.

Here are the KNOWN ISSUES for Office 2016 and MAC, from TECHNET:
