Hi all,

I would like to ask if it is possible for an automated email to be sent out to the newly created user, containing the login user id and login password.

This email should be sent out when the user is added manually by an administrator using the management interface.

I like this idea and voted to have it added as a feature. However I would like it to be an optional feature. A setting that can be turned on and off because I can see situations where some companies may not want automated E-Mails sent for user account creation.

I would almost expect to get an email verification directly after registering an account.

You do, if you are registering your own account through the portal as a customer. The OP is talking about when an employee (in the Management Interface) creates a User Account manually. In this situation, no E-Mail is sent, it's a silent User Account creation. The OP would like the option to have a welcome E-Mail sent out even in this "back-end account creation" scenario.

Hello,

Coming up in the next version of smartertrack 11x will be an event for 'User Registered in Portal' you can subscribe to and do actions with.
