Notifications - Android
Problem reported by Cris Mead - 11/4/2025 at 5:45 AM
Resolved
I'm wondering if it's a feature or a bug, but my SmarterTrack on Android (Galaxy S23Ultra, and Galaxy A50) doesn't do any notifications

We use email and imap to create tickets, no one uses the portal.

Any notification that prompts a browser notification is pushed automatically to the mobile app. For example, when a new live chat comes in.

For things that do not initiate a browser notification, there are a couple of Event Actions that can be used to push a notification to the mobile app. One is for notifying the assigned agent, and another is available for group notifications.

That did work "Event action" "Notify Assigned Agent / group in SmarterTrack App (once per item)"
Also Chat's notification worked out-of-the-box (no event needed)

So new tickets are do not notify on the Apps without the Event/Actions?

No, as new tickets don't initiate a browser notification, the Event would be necessary if you want to receive notifications in app. Odd about the "Mark as resolution" not working -- do you not see the option or did it just not work?

FYI, I also observed the issue " I can not mark your post as Resolution" , here is a screenshot:
The server call returns HTTP 401.
