The ham/spam stuff is driven right now by the user's mailbox. Moving an item from Inbox -> Junk or from Junk -> Inbox or by using the buttons that mark the item as such. 
We've got logic in place for when someone moves something in an out or toggles and untoggles these buttons, we delay telling rspamd/etc about them for about 2-3 minutes allowing us a moment to "undo" the learning.
