How to setup SmarterStats?

I am new to SmarterStats. I wanted to used SmarterStats for my website analytics. Can you please suggest to me how can I set up and how to use it? I always appreciate suggestions.

SmarterStats Deployment Guide
Understanding Server Logs and SmarterLogs (It is recommended you schedule SmarterStats to import the raw logs for a time when no other services are running in the background on the server, i.e. backups, virus scans, etc.)
