SmarterTrack Hosted Chat phone farm attack

We are using hosted SmarterTrack.
Currently blocking IP addresses doesn't apply to chats, so anyone can start a live chat using automated methods. 
Even if the server may or may not have flood/ddos protection, that doesn't mean that a phone farm cannot be set to create tickets automatically. This messes up reports and keeps customers in queue for longer than necessary, along with the fact that it creates frustration for the agents.
This is a serious problem.
