How to downgrade Smartermail?

Answered
We need to downgrade SmarterMail from 
Version 16.3.6729 (Jun 4, 2018)
to
Version 16.3.6684 (Apr 20, 2018)
(because SmarterTools team removed Bayesian filtering from SmarterMail).
 
How can we do that?
 
There is no article about downgrade in the Knowledge Base.

Hey,

As far as I know from here, you can downgrade only if you have the setup with you for v16.3.6684 as smartertools does not allow to download old versions from their site. If you have the setup you can uninstall existing version and install required version as settings are retained.

You can request a previous version from us if need be -- just email our sales@ address. However, downgrading just because Bayesian was removed won't be much of a change: Bayesian filtering was extremely legacy and not terribly effective. That's why it was removed. See Tim's response in this thread:

Bayesian filtering works fine, just do not assign it high weight. Without Bayesian filtering our customers get +50 spam emails a day in average.

removing this feature killed smartermail for me :(
