Most of SmarterTrack does not permit using the Enter key to submit a page. Even if it did, the modal you show in your screenshot would probably not utilize such a feature as it is a custom fields form. In addition, drop down lists are difficult controls for handling this behavior, as there are scenarios where it would not be desirable to submit the information when hitting enter.

Requiring a busy user to use a mouse for this action is frustrating and is definitely a problem.

 

I understand what you're saying but we're not asking for it everywhere, just on the custom field modal.  It has only a single field and as far as I can tell there is no possible way for it to have multiple fields in which case handling the enter key is straightforward.

 

 

I have changed this to an Idea thread for you, as this is considered a feature request. We will take it under consideration.

Because of the complexity of custom fields, and to keep consistent behavior throughout SmarterTrack, we will not be implementing this feature.
