SmarterTrack Reporting when a ticket is transferred??

I have a question regarding reporting.  Does the report look at the group/department that the ticket was created in, or closed in?
It appears from some testing that if a ticket is created in one group, then transferred to another.  It reports based on the group it was created in not that it ended up in when it was closed.  Is that accurate?

The specific reporting behavior depends on the report you are looking at, and sometimes even the specific details on that report. Is there a specific report you were wondering about?
