[SM16 UI] in Tasks - Save button doesn't activate
Problem reported by kevind - 6/13/2017 at 11:38 AM
Resolved
When you edit a Task, typing something in the body will not enable the Save button. You have to type something in the Subject.

Also, FWIW, instead of having the red "Delete" button right next to the Save & Cancel buttons, how about moving it to the far right? This would give it its own space, similar to how iOS organizes buttons that do different things.

Kevin, are the tasks you are editing missing the subject to begin with? The subject is a required field and until filled out the SAVE button will not enable.

With existing tasks that have a subject, I am able to modify the body and it enables the SAVE button.

Tasks already had a subject to begin with. Maybe it's an IE issue as I just tried it with Edge and it seemed to work fine.

However, I was able to make it fail in Edge by deleting existing text (either backspace or delete key) and the Save button did not activate.

Kevin, there is a similar issues with backspace / delete and even enter key not triggering the SAVE button. I will try to replicate the task subject issue in IE again.

Confirmed that you can type letters in IE 11 and it doesn't trigger the Save button.
