Losing carriage returns in Mac OS Contact Notes

Using Exchange with .5711 of the latest SM.  In the Mac OS X Contacts App I have notes with carriage returns, when I click DONE it removes all of the returns and makes a big paragraph/blob of text.  I don't know if this is a Mac issue or SM issue.

Neal, which protocol are you using ActiveSync or Web Services?

It's on the Mac OS X Contacts app, not device, so Exchange ActiveSync.
