Global Abuse & Postmaster Aliases
Idea shared by Scarab - 9/29/2014 at 2:39 PM

IETF RFC requires every domain using email have an abuse & postmaster address where it can receive email. In Smartermail we manually add two Email Aliases for each domain that forwards all incoming email to our primary abuse@ and postmaster@ addresses (i.e., abuse@customerdomain.com forwards to abuse@emailproviderdomain.com). It would be nice to have this as a Global Setting in Smartermail where the abuse@ and postmaster@ addresses can be globally defined for all domains (or have them sent to the Primary System Administrator in Smartermail by default if a domain does not already have these addresses defined as either an Email Account or Email Alias).

Hello Scarab,

After much consideration, we have determined this functionality is not on our roadmap for SmarterMail. We do appreciate your post and thank you for your participation in the Community.
