Timing out of queues while actively working in SmarterTrack

Every once in a while I get logged out of the queues (not completely logged out of SmarterTrack, but one of my browser windows goes gray and then I get that pop-up where I need to re-log into the queues.
We do have SmarterTrack configured to log people out if they are idle for 45 minutes but this happens while actively working (I replied to a ticket as recently as 18 min ago)
I do have quite a few browser windows open with SmarterTrack tickets that have been idle, but "I" as the user have not been idle so I'm not clear on why this is occurring (it should not be)
