We’ve posted a new blog article about SpamFoo, including an update on the SpamFoo Beta.

Since launching the Beta in June, SpamFoo’s capabilities and our integration have evolved quickly. Most notably, SpamFoo has been making substantial improvements to phishing detection in response to feedback from SmarterTools, our customers, and others.

Accordingly, this new phishing protection will be offered as a separate licensed product alongside SpamFoo Antispam. To support this development, SpamFoo has agreed to extend the Beta through December 1st. All customers can continue using SpamFoo Antispam and SpamFoo Phishing (once we get it integrated), until then.

SpamFoo Phishing will appear as another Spam Check alongside SpamFoo Antispam so that it can be configured separately and be given its own weights (another request from our customers), etc.
