How to setup SmarterMail / DNS so IPhones can easily add accounts

I know there has to be a combination of port settings, DNS records that allow Iphones to add smartermail accounts to their phone's built in email client as easily as adding a gmail account. Could someone share how things need to be configured?

It all works off autodiscover settings, same as Android.

We have a single configuration for both types

I have cnfigued both an A record and the SRV record

The easiest way, Autodiscover with ActiveSync.

1. Set up Autodiscover for SmarterMail

2. Autodiscover DNS records

3. Activate Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync (a very expensive addon)

4. Configure EAS in the iOS Mail App
