I've spent the morning trying to implement S/MIME in Outlook with a mix of success and failure. Got myself a cheapo S/MIME cert, I have both the PKCS 7 and 12 bundles. Did the imports in the appropriate areas. I have no problem signing a message. Those work fine with the little digital signature ribbon. When I encrypt a message in Outlook, it looks good and generates no error on send, but even when I send it to myself, it returns blank. In webmail it's blank too. I can't find any log errors. I haven't turned off ClamAV or Defender yet at the server. That's next in order to rule out un-scannable files. Anyone else come across this problem? A few customers have been asking about it for compliance reasons. If I can get it working, I'll then tell them that "It's a breeze!!!" Lol.
