Feature request: Hidden aliases for incoming emails

We currently have hybrid mailbox solutions for some customers in our legacy MS Exchange environment. These are distributed across standard POP3/IMAP servers and forwarded from there to the Exchange server via a hidden alias address. We urgently need this feature.

Hi,

You can already do this in SmarterMail. Just go to domain.com → Users  → Aliases, then create a new alias with the user’s specific email address. Make sure the Show in GAL option is turned off so the alias remains hidden. You can also enable the option to allow send from alias, which lets the user send mail using that address as their From address. This way, the alias will function without being visible in the Global Address List.

Thanks,

Since I can't reply to the topic, here's the addition:

Hello Zach,
No, the function isn't available as required. I can't use the mail server's main domain as a hidden receiving alias. Example: The mail server's main domain is hostingserver.dom, a customer uses mydomain.kd, and I would like to be able to use a hidden alias, user AT hostingserver.dom, for the address user AT mydomain.kd, only for my own emails.
