User Confused About How an Alias Works
Problem reported by Douglas Brantley - Yesterday at 1:25 PM

Example:
There are three email addresses in an alias named update@example.com.
A@example.com
B@example.com
C@example.com
A@example.com sends a mail message to the alias update@example.com.
The mail message is received by B@example.com and C@example.com.
The mail message is NOT received by A@example.com.
User A@example.com is concerned the alias is broken and does not work.

Is there a reference in the SmarterMail Documentation explaining this alias functionality?

I have attempted to explain the difference between an alias and a mailing list to the users but...

Check to see if A gas put an unit ended entry on his block list.

Check that A has a correctly spelled email address

Check the Delivery log to see what really happened.

Might need to check the spam checks log as well
