Proposal : Send Accepted meetings to a "meetings" system folder instead of deleting them

Proposed
HI !
Every time I get a meeting request for something, When I hit accepts, the email disappears from the inbox and is tossed into the trash automatically. I think that is bad design. I think there should be a new system folder (like drafts, deleted, junk, sent) for "meetings" and instead of deleting the email once it is accepted, put it into the meetings folder, but PLEASE stop deleting them.

Just curious, because maybe there's a good reason that hasn't occurred to me but could be helpful.  When a meeting invite is accepted, it's added to the calendar with all the details.  So, I'm curious why you would want to retain the original invite in a separate (non Deleted) folder.  Again, I'm just curious.

I get meeting requests that are sometimes weeks or even months in advance. Sometimes with the wrong date, but correct content, attached files, etc.  Or, If we need to forward the invite, or zoom /online link, off to someone that was not originally on the invite list.  Having to go hunt down a meeting is a pain. especially if it was not on the right date. Or getting several meeting requests for the same meeting, but each time they attached different files and content to the invite. First invite is the agenda, 2nd updated invite does not have the agenda, but has the financial documents. 3rd invite only contains a press release, and not the agenda or financials.
Or, as I have written (complained) about several times with a suggestion,
When you delete a meeting "Series" it also deletes all of the past meetings as well, not just the future meetings. So if the past meetings had valuable content attached to them, now they are gone. But even with that, having to go hunt down a meeting for the attached content, that happened in the past is a pain as well.
