Suggestion : Calendar, Delete Series - Today forward
Idea shared by Curtis Kropar www.HawaiianHope.org - 4/16/2024 at 5:46 PM
Proposed
SmarterMail 8797
On the calendar if you have a repeating scheduled event, the only options to delete it are "This Instance" - or - "Delete Series" meaning everything. As it is now the delete series wipes out all historical data of a scheduled event.

There needs to be a 3rd option : "Delete Series, Today Forward"
This way it will keep the historical data of meetings or events that already happened, but clear out future events that might now be cancelled.

I just had to delete a series of historical meetings that have already successfully happened,  because i needed to stop the meetings on their current schedule.

Hello Curtis,

Thank you for your input on this topic. I have submitted a Feature Request for deleting a calendar series but keeping past events from that series. We will keep you updated on the status of this feature request.

This can be a good idea!

Yes, this is a good suggestion.  Here's how Google Calendar handles it:
