Being Fixed
I just realized this is happening.
When I click on an email and it shows up in the preview pane, The center column will show the email marked as read, but the left nav pane never updates the unread counts. This is happening in both firefox and chrome. I disabled ad blocker too to try it, no change.

Hmm...what does the console say? We just tested this on 9014 and, when clicking on an unread item, it's marked read and the unread count DOES decrease on the folder. And is this on the Inbox or is it in another folder?

Sorry, Not sure what you mean by console.
Any folder, including inbox.

No problem, Curtis. There should be a way to enable Developer Tools for your browser. This will allow you to right click on a blank space in the webmail interface and select "Inspect" from the context menu. This will open a new tab, or a new window, and give you a look "behind the curtain" of the page. You'll want to select the Console tab, and refresh the page, then click on a message. If there are issues, you'll see some red errors on the Console screen of that second tab/window.

Hey Derek
Its fixed. Interestingly, I have another ticket with Tony and his fix for that ticket (2C4-2E8EF0AD-0011) seems to have fixed the counter issue, and a few other things.. Now when I click on an email the counter properly changes the unread count again.  The problem appears to have been something about the domain on the server has MiXeD case in the folder name.

Hi,

I can confirm that putting the whole domainname in lowercase (Domain.com to domain.com) resolves this issue.

Thanks

Hello,

We figured out what is happening here and will review the code to resolve these issues related to mixed case domain folder names. The next release should resolve these issues.

Kind Regards,

Brian, You can "detach" the domain, rename it to lower case, then reattach the domain. problem solved. If you need more info let me know, I can walk you through it.
