SmarterMail Notificatons show as nobody@invalid.invalid on emClient

SmarterMail E-mail Notifications from System Administrator arrive with From nobody@invalid.invalid on emClient.

Hello Ron, What version of SmarterMail and eM Client are you currently using? 

This is what I am seeing when I test it

Hi Tony, I appreciate you chiming in to help.  We are using the latest version of SmarterMail Build 8664.  I am using the latest version of emClient on Windows 11.  I downloaded/installed emClient on Monday.

You may need to configure from addresses for your system messages in Settings>System Messages when logged in as a system administrator. If these are being generated by an event instead you may need to configure the from address there. Do they show up with a valid from address in webmail?

I discovered this issue persists with IDS rule "notify" only.

Happy New Year. This issue remains when using emClient. I'm starting to like the client and continue noticing these.

Hi Ron, 

Can you please provide the version of eM Client and SmarterMail that you're using? For eM Client, go to Menu > Help > About. 

I'm not able to replicate this behavior using SmarterMail Build 8762 (Dec 28, 2023) and eM Client Version 9.2.2157. In my client, it shows "From System Administrator". 

That said, we do have a task to evaluate the possibility of adding a From Address to the IDS Notify actions. That addition would bypass this concern altogether.

Ron, i've been getting the same for a while, only from the IDS rule message, not a massive issue but if it's a system message then it may be better coming from "SM IDS Notification" or something?
