Two-step authentication password changed by administrator
Idea shared by Frederico Martins - 10/11/2023 at 1:58 AM
Proposed
Hi

Password, Two-step authentication cannot be changed while impersonating.

It is important that the administrator can generate new passwords, even if they are not visible.
This is important when the account is configured in Outlook and is sending spam, the administrator, when generating a new password, stops sending spam, without waiting for the user.

At the moment, the administrator is unable to reset the password. Does anyone know a workaround?

Hello,

We have a BUG report in for this issue as well as a feature request.

The bug report fixes the issue so that if you are impersonating a user that has 2FA and you disable it them re enable it the app passwords are now different then they were before. This should be included in the next release of the BETA

Thanks
