Giving e-mail service to real customers it often happens to have many users all behind the same Public IP (example: if there are 20 users in a customer's office, they will all connect from the same internet line and, therefore, from the same IP. ..).
This means that if, for any case, one of the users enters the password incorrectly several times and has the IP blocked for IDC rules, then ALL the other users are also blocked.
My questions are 2:
1 - is it possible to set a WHITE LIST for the static IP of these customers so that the Public IP of these customers is not blocked by IDC rules?
I guess it can be done by adding them to the WhiteList under Security options, but I'm not sure how that works...
2 - if the WhiteList in the Security options can be used for this function, how can I also enable it for MAPI, EWS, EAS and for Webmail?
From what I see only IMAP, POP, SMATP and XMMP protocols are supported...
