Live Chat PopUp - SmarterTools

Hi Guys

Wondering if anyone else has seen this issue. Our live chat script slows down our website load time by 3 to 6 seconds.

We add the live chat code and the whoon code to the footer of the site and it slows down all pages 3 to 6 seconds. Total load times of 9 to 13 seconds.

Has anyone spent any time trying to debug this issue and find out where the bottleneck is?

As you can see on SmarterTools.com, our site loads incredibly quick and Live Chat shows up immediately after site loads. Looking at your site, you have a lot going on.

Where is your smarter track install related to your website? Are they on the same server or the same data center?

Our SmarterTrack install is at the same datacenter but that really doesn't matter. For example, we provide Hosted SmarterTrack through our datacenters to customers who are hosting their websites all over the world.

Based on the speed your site loads, something might be slow and blocking our scripts. Or the server you have SmaterTrack installed on is running slow or has bandwidth restrictions?
