How to forward all mail to the external domain that pulled in via POP retrieval? (Smartermail)

Hi,

I just wonder did anyone here success forward mail to the external domain that pulled in via POP retrieval? I would like to forward all mail that pulled in via POP retrieval to my Gmail account but it does not work.

Hi,

I'm not sure about it but It's highly probable that the mail forwarding mecanism is only for incoming mails that goes through the delivery process loop, but not for mails imported from external mailboxes.

Not sure ther is a way to trigger an action, like for example forward the mail, for imported mails. I'm not even sure configurable filters are executed for imported mails.

I guess someone from ST has to confirm this.

Hello,

Currently this is not possible, When emails are puled in to SmarterMail via IMAP, POP, or any other "Mailbox Migration" process the messages do not get processed the same way and would not get forwarded ( or trip content filters or spam checks, unless you select this option specifically ).

Gabriele Maoret - Head of SysAdmins at SERSIS Currently manages 6 SmarterMail installations (1 in the cloud for SERSIS which provides services to a few hundred third-party email domains + 5 on-premise for customers who prefer to have their mail server in-house)
