Hello guys, I would like to have your feedbacks about the latest version of SM.

This is one of the best releases we have ever made public, especially from a stability standpoint. 

We spent 6 to 8 weeks, including throughout the holidays, working with any and all customers who saw problems, whether they were frequent or infrequent / current or not current. I'll admit, we did have a bad release and an imperfect custom build during that process, but the end result is fantastic and everything we hoped for.

We appreciate the time those customers worked with us and allowed us to work on their servers.   We have had NO tickets related to this build and a ton of domains and users already running on it.

No new problems until now.

It appears to be quite stable.

No issues on our servers. We've been running this since last Friday: 01/21.

@Tim

Just a thought... When future releases come out could someone at SmarterTools create a discussion thread and sticky it on this forum? It would be nice to discuss with the community how everyone is liking the new releases.

Since the release of this build, no issues at all, and our servers still very stable. No customer ticket pending. We can breathe a little bit and I have to tell you that we appreciate it!

Rod, you really need to upgrade.  Lot of improvements since then.  More harm than good to stay on older versions with this latest release.

Tim, don't you guys have a slotted Core Server update this weekend (I deleted the message)?
Trying to plan an update time and want to avoid that time frame if possible.

NEVERMIND:  Found it in my deleted items
For anyone else:   9PM GMT-7 for about 3 hours is their slotted update to core system at SmarterTools this weekend (Saturday 1/29/22).

Upgraded to 8055 tonight.  So far so good, will know more once activity ramps up tomorrow morning.

I updated last week, it fixed one of the issues my customer was having about the calendar invites having the wrong time. This appears to be fixed and nothing else jumps out. So far so good.

So far so good here as well.   No reports of problems I am aware of that have not been handled by our front line support desk workers.
