Search and Delete Phishing Emails from All Users in Domain
Idea shared by Jay Dubb - 12/14/2021 at 11:40 AM
Under Consideration
Is there a way for an admin to search all mailboxes in a domain for a message meeting certain criteria, and delete that message from all mailboxes?

Customer with over 1400 users received a phishing email that is a bit "too good" and users are falling for it.  They asked us to scan all mailboxes for this phish and delete.  This is trivial to do in Exchange (known as a Compliance Search and delete) but we cannot find any way to do this in SmarterMail.  Are we overlooking this function or does it not exist?

If not, then please consider this a Feature Request.

Please Up-Vote if you agree.

Abusive emails, viruses, confidential message sent to the wrong group (OOPS!), etc. are also reasons to mass-delete in a hurry.  We have mass deleted in Exchange Server for all of these reasons and it has saved a lot of heads from rolling.
