Hello Gilbert,

SmarterMail has several built-in options on a per-user basis.

Email Retrieval

These days it's rare for someone to have, and use, a single email address. That's why SmarterMail's Email Retrieval feature is so great: it allows users to access email from another account directly within the SmarterMail Web interface. This means users can add their Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo! or any other mail account to SmarterMail so that they can receive all of their emails, from a number of different accounts, from within a single interface.
Mailbox Migration

The mailbox migration tool makes moving an account from from an email provider like Office 365 or Yahoo!, or from another email server like MailEnable or Open X-change, to SmarterMail incredibly easy. Depending on whether the provider allows it, Mailbox Migration can import email, contacts, calendars, tasks and notes into a SmarterMail Account.
API
This option is to use the API to try and automate this process. The API documentation can be found here ( https://mail.smartertools.com/Documentation/api#/reference/SmarterMail.Web.Controllers.SettingsController ). There are calls for both of the above options.

For External Tools, I have seen these used in the past by clients.

I hope this helps.

Thank you

Second vote for IMAPSync. We've had mixed results with SmarterMail's tools, but IMAPSync is always perfect.

IMAPSync/IMAPCopy are definitely the way to go when completing bulk migrations. There is nothing better than handing it a list of usernames, and watching it go to work! :)

You can use the exclusively designed tool DRS IMAP to Office 365 Migration Tool. It is a one-stop solution to migrate your IMAP accounts to Office 365 with complete accuracy and working demonstration. This application provides all the advanced features to make email migration secure and precise. Built with interactive GUI, IMAP to 365 Migrator tool is easy to use for all users. Along with a working demonstration, this software is available for both Windows and Mac OS.

@Mark Smith - Why on earth would someone on a Smartermail forum be looking for a tool to migrate to Exchange 365?

Side note-- we run Smartermail Enterprise, on-prem Exchange Server enterprise edition, and we manage Exchange 365 for customers.  Of the 3, our admins hate Exchange 365 the most.  It's a mess to administer, requiring a disjoint mix of marginally-useful web GUI and powershell.  It's dog-slow (compliance deletes take forever to run, changes take many minutes to sync between Azure & Exchange) and it's spam/phish filtering is stupidly aggressive, without a useful way to whitelist for more than 30 days.  I think the primary reason Exchange 365 has as many customers as it does, is the convenience factor for those who buy 365 subscriptions.  That, and because Microsoft made Exchange on-prem prohibitively expensive now.  From a functional and administrative standpoint, in our experience Exchange 365 sucks.
