Team Spaces - Perpetual Hang Entering Team Spaces
Problem reported by Jay Dubb - 7/2/2021 at 10:12 AM
Submitted
When a user is logged into Webmail, then goes to Team Workspaces and tries to enter a Team Workspace that's been set up (or do anything inside Team Spaces for that matter), they are presented with a perpetual spinning donut and the "Logging you in" message.  It will just hang at that screen.  But if the user hits the browser Refresh button, or closes the tab and clicks into Team Spaces again, it works.

This can be duplicated on Chrome, Firefox, and Edge.

We watched resource utilization from the server console when this happens, and there is no indication resources are being consumed-- i.e., no increased CPU, no increased disk activity, etc.  Constant pings show 15 ms latency with no packet loss.

Any ideas, or anyone seeing similar?  We were pitching Team Spaces as a selling feature to a customer today, and the demo didn't go well because of it.

Hello Jay,

Thank you for reaching out to the community.
What browser are you using? Also, was it during impersonation or logging in as a user?
Please let me know. If you can please also submit a ticket.

Hello Zach,

Not impersonating-- logged directly in as a user.  And we tried all 3 browsers installed on the demo PC-- Chrome, Firefox and Edge.  All are current on their patches.

Hello Jay, thanks for your follow-up on this. My initial theory on this is that the logon may be hanging due to client port negotiation which takes place in the background. Are you using a TURN or STUN server on this domain? You might also try opening the Developer Tools>Console window in your browser, then reproduce the issue and send us a screenshot of what you find in the console logs.
