Folders created in outlook not showing

First - I have a ticket open with ST support.

My issue is that I have 2 users that have outlook 16.0.14026.20308 (current build) and they create and delete folders using IMAP and we get oddly mixed results. Folders dont show up on the server yet on the outlook the folders show. Sometimes they don't show.

Is there a limit to the number of folders that outlook or SM may have?

They user does have like a 100 or more folders.

Hello Marc. I don't believe there is an upper limit for the number of folders that can be used on IMAP, but I do know that the user may need to manually select those newly added folders under the Subscribed Folders settings to ensure they sync to the client. Beyond that though, its possible there are account content issues preventing a proper sync as well, so I recommend getting a ticket submitted on this so we can take a look.
