Problem reported by Millennium Systems - 7/22/2020 at 1:54 PM
Resolved
SM 7503

After an update to 7503 we have lost the ability to view or edit account Aliases

- regular click on the alias name does nothing
- right click context menu only has delete
- no edit button on top after ticking any checkbox

Was informed via a ticket this is a known issue and will be fixed in the next release.

We are on 7503 and I was able to edit an alias without issue. Using Safari 13.1.1. Not sure why I would be able to and you are not.

It is circumstantial, another fresh 7503 install didn't have the problem

Jason, if you do a force refresh / clear browser cache, you will be unable to edit aliases anymore. We have the same issue and one admin was able to edit them and I not; I always CTRL+F5 the site after an update, which is why it did not work for me. I asked the other admin to do the same and aliases were uneditable for him too afterwards. It seems that the old code cached from a previous version allows you to edit the aliases.

Lonel,
Yea I am thinking is more circumstantial. I have cleared cache, tried different browsers (Safari & Chrome on Mac, Chrome on WIN) and still I have no issues changing an alias. Hopefully these odd issues get resolved soon.

We were able to replicate this and have a fix in place. Look for it in this week's release.
