In Progress
Customers are asking if they can have multiple colored flags in webmail. You can set different colored flags in Outlook and Apple Mail on desktops.

Excellent, it would be a very helpful feature

Just wanted to bring back these related topics as they also concern the same area but for mail clients that use IMAP keywords for coloring:

This is one of the blocking missing features that prevents migrating customers from MS Exchange to SmarterMail (the other one is Outlook rules that can't be synced with the server).

I hope that it will be implemented soon.

Has there been any decision made on this feature?  After a year it is still flagged as under consideration with no feedback

Soon or never (for imap flags i had a post about it back around 2020 that SM ceo rejected because it was not useful/deprecated)

While re-reading it, i am astonished how much energy i've put into advocating to have this feature for such result...

@Sebastien - I think what has changed is that in the last couple of months or the year, the SM team seems to be heavily focused on getting SM as close to Exchange as possible so that things stop breaking and they have that compatibility with it for those looking for an Exchange alternative that has all the major same components. I think they will start accepting for this and subsequent releases things that we point out that Exchange has that we don't so that they get the system as close to Exchange (minus visual design changes or perhaps even more towards that in a way).

Personally I don't like the idea much as I would love to incorporate more features that exchange doesnt have but I think somewhere they need to remain very close to Exchange in order to ensure compatibility doesnt break and they can remain the "Alternative to MS Exchange" which is what has been their vision / mission it seems.

Just my thoughts renewing for the last 2 years and making a list of what changes are happening (via changelog). Most of the changes seem to be focused on getting close and staying close to MS Exchange.

Correct me if I am wrong though.
