MAPI - Notes with HTML tags
Problem reported by Nathan - 6/6/2020 at 7:23 AM

Smartermail allows you to create notes with formatting using HTML. Within Webmail this works as you would expect but Outlook only permits plain text notes. Therefore, it renders <div> tags etc, instead of interpreting them. This impacts the usage of notes as they are peppered with HTML tags.

Although I prefer having the option to format, as it is not possible in Outlook I would suggest that the functionality is removed or updated to remove HTML tags when read by Outlook.

Hey Nathan, I'm sure we do some HTML to plain text conversion when sending notes from SmarterMail to Outlook.  If you're seeing HTML tags in your Outlook notes then that could be a bug.  If that's what you're seeing then can you open up a ticket with support and we can assist you further.

Thanks
