SM 7398-->7419 - Problems with EM Client and Smartemail EWS: GAL not synced nor visible

Resolved
In EM Client (v. 8) the Global Address List is not visible and seems to be not in sync.

Same issue even in EM Client v. 7 via EWS

Thanks Gabriele! This issue has been addressed and the resolution will be provided in the upcoming BETA release.

This issue is not solved.

Despite the error in EM Client 8 is vanished, the GAL addresses aren't visible in EM Client 8 nor in EM Client 7.

This are the address book of my test account in EM Client 8:



As you can see there's no GAL Addresses, despite in webmail of the same account I can see them :




In Outlook I can see them too:



So I think you can't mark this issue as resolved

Gabriele,

In eM Client, you need to subscribe to the GAL for it to show up.

To subscribe to the GAL, go to Menu > Tools > Accounts and select the appropriate account. Then, on the Exchange Web Services tab, click the "Edit..." button for Public Folders. In the dialog, check the box next to Global Address List and click Ok.
