Does Mobile Administration Hyperlink -- #mobileadminhyperlink# work?
Question asked by Leo Novelli - 5/9/2019 at 1:03 PM
Answered
We created an email event which sends a text message to our cell phones when a new ticket is created. In the body of the message we are including the Mobile Administration Hyperlink (#mobileadminhyperlink#) variable. When we receive the message we get a link as follows:

When I click on the link I am taken to our the search page of our portal. I do not go directly to the ticket in question. Since the URL contains the ticketId variable I would think we would be taken directly to the ticket.

Does anyone else use the #mobileadminhyperlink# variable? If so, does it work for you?

Hello Leo,

I have replicated this and reported it to our development team. Once I have any more information from them I will follow up with you here.

Hello Leo,

Follow up, This is an outdate variable that is going to be removed. You will want to use the admin hyperlink variable.
  • "ADMIN HYPERLINK" : #adminhyperlink#
  • "ADMIN HYPERLINK" : https://{domain}/Management/Tickets/frmTicket.aspx?ticketid=xxxxxx&popup=true
Thank you
