How are you all handling Distribution Groups?

One of the drawbacks of SmarterMail vs. True Exchange seems to be Distribution Groups. I cannot create Active Directory integrated distribution groups, so how are you all handing this? For example I would like:

_Sales
_Management
_Finance

etc.

Right now I am creating those "accounts", for example _sales@domain.com, and in the forwarding options adding all the individual email addresses of the users in that group.

Then I have no way to push these out to outlook, I have to email everyone and say "If you want to email the sales department please email _sales@domain.com

Is this accurate? Am I missing something? Is there an easier way to manage distribution groups?

Hello,

You can accomplish this type of functionality by creating an Alias and adding each of the accounts to the alias. This will allow you to both send (optional) and receive email to those addresses.

Is there then any way to push out that contact list to Outlook? I know if I went to WEBMAIL and CONTACTS it would be listed there under the global address list... But then I would have to EXPORT that to Outlook and in the past that would cause issues every time I did an upgrade to SmarterMail it would break it.
