Downloadable version archive for prior releases
Idea shared by Neal Culiner - 9/2/2018 at 6:20 AM
Proposed
As ST releases builds on Friday then disappears for a long weekend such as this Labor Day weekend and you broke IMAP, it's time for you to link every prior build in an archive so that allow us to step back to a prior build if needed until you can fix your latest bugs in your latest "beta" of SM 16.

SM installer downloads do not contain the version number in the file name (they should), and instead overwrite the previous installer if you let it happen. I have developed a habit of naming every SM download by its version number, and then keeping them for months, if not forever. This way I can go back and install a previous version.

:-) same here, can go back to 2.6.2119
(no need to clean up, disk space is still cheaper than my hourly rate)

It's a bit ridiculous that we have to archive each installer but we do anyway. What other business-oriented software requires this?

I prefer 2.7. Ha.
