Mail Migration - zimbra to smarter mail

While migration zimbra to smarter mail getting below error where both servers are different IP's and DC's

Not sure which version of SM you're using; in any case I have very little experience with this. 
 
However, if you don't mind paying a bit, you can take a look at BitTitan for migration. Seems to be very powerful. I will almost certainly be using it for an email migration soon.

I think what he provided is useful. IMO the migration utility within SM to move email is unreliable. We've tried using it many hundreds of times, it stalls, duplicates emails, doesnt seem to ever really complete, has errors etc. We simply wrote an app that uses imapsync to process emails for us when migrating just email, it works brilliantly.

We use IMAPSYNC to do that. Really felxible and stable.

I agree that IMAPSYNC or MigrationWiz from Bittitan are the way to go. We use both of these all the time and they work wonderfully for all types of email migrations.

Do you happened to use the domain instead of the IP of the server when filling in the migration form?

not the doamin, but the FQDN of the server.
