No sync of new calendar items via Exchange account since 16.3.6795

Resolved
Since one of the last updates (as far as I'm aware since 16.3.6795) my calendar client via Exchange account is not updating any new events anymore. Events entered via client are synced to the server and subsequently erased on the client. Events entered via webmail never sync back to the desktop app.
No problem with another client via WebDAV and mobile clients via EAS. 
 
Server: SM 16.3.6802
Client: Calendar (2195.4.3) on macOS 10.13.6

I was able to replicate this issue with EWS and the Mac Calendar app, and I've made sure the development team is aware. We'll get this resolved as soon as possible.

This issue should be fixed in the next maintenance release of SmarterMail 16. It is tentatively scheduled to be released tonight, 23 Aug.

We installed the new release and Calendar.app is back in sync.
