I put in my vote. This would be quite helpful especially since doing things to the wrong gateway could cause delivery issues, so a description/note could help prevent accidents.

After adding MailGun as an outbound gateway, I need to set one outbound per domain to use this service properly. I host many domains, so not i need to guess which gateway I configure to each domain and go back to the admin and click the "There is 1 domain assigned to this gateway. Click here to view domains." to see if I selected the proper gateway, as all show as "smtp.mailgun.org" in the settings. Adding a descriptor would be extremely helpful and a time-saver.

@Richard and @David, this has been added to our features request list for further discussion. This post will be updated if this is implemented.

In the last public release (Build 7544) we added the description field to both inbound and outbound gateways.
