Trying to send emails from Adobe Reader- getting error

I am trying to setup Adobe Reader to send through SM rather than Outlook but even using the correct settings, I get "Error Communicating with Server"
 
Has anyone else attempted and succeeded with using SM to send from Adobe?

I have tried all settings on the SM server I can think of and this still does not work. Has anyone out there been able to send PDFs through Adobe Reader using the SmarterMail server settings?

Anyone from SmarterTools have any ideas? There is a finite number of settings in the Adobe Reader app that can be changed.
