Can't get Availability options in calendar to work

Hi all,
I am trying to see other invitees availability when adding attendees to meetings in calendar, but when I click on "View Availability" I see black circles for all the times for all the invitees. I tried sharing calendars between users but still it doesn't work, I guess I am missing something somewhere, any help is highly appreciated. We are using Smartermail 16.
